sh#$ty board for a set but i dont want to play weak
i was playing live in la. when the following hand came along
5/5 nl, i had about 500 back. i didnt want to play weak but from action i was almost positive i was beat off the flop. whats my play on the turn? No Limit Holdem Ring game Blinds: $5/$5 9 players Pre-flop: (9 players) Hero is CO with 22 UTG folds, utg+1 calls, 3 folds, i call, button calls, sb calls, bb checks Flop: Ad 2d 3d ($25, 5 players) checks to hero, i bet 20. button calls, sb fold, bb min raise to 40. utg+1 folds. i call, button folds **ok so right here is where im pretty sure im already beat. on this board im almost positive that the bb wouldnt raise unless he had; a xd, 4 5, or baby flush. maybe two pr. Turn: Qs ($125, 2 players) bb leads out for 80. hero? answer this first, i opted to make the call since i think folding here might be kinda weak. but what could he possibly be double barreling that im beating. plus he has about 300 left so if i board pr. im fairly sure ill stack him here. river: 10c ($285, 2 players) bb moves in for 300. hero? |
