FT200 4-bet sees a flop

($117 left) BTN is 18/14/4/234. 5% 3-bet. He has tight stats yet he has a note/color which says that he is aggro-ish/laggish and thus not to be confused with a solid reg. Villain thinks a couple seconds before calling preflop. |

Re: FT200 4-bet sees a flop
How can an 18/14 be aggro/laggish pre-flop?
I C/F. His range is heavily polarized towards TT-QQ and occasionally a poorly played KK/AA (I say poorly played because you clearly aren't folding...so why not just stick it in). He's probably shove/folding AK...and nits never call 4-bets w/ AQ or less. If you really think you can push him off like JJ/QQ, then fire away I guess...but I just don't seem to ever get a fold in this spot. And FWIW, I personally 4-bet a lot smaller here...but that's really just a style thing. $58 looks good. |

It doesn't matter that much to the discussion, but in this hand I shoved and he folded quickly.

Re: FT200 4-bet sees a flop
i check/fold. he probably has an overpair that he has no interest in folding on a non A/K flop.

Your 4 bet size is pretty bad imo. Check fold flop.

[ QUOTE ] Your 4 bet size is pretty bad imo. Check fold flop. [/ QUOTE ] Why and how much would you make it? Obv we are not planning to fold.. |
