Barney Frank (D-Mass.) is sponsoring a bill that would legalize Internet gambling, creating a government regulated online industry. Although supporters say it could generate up to $3 billion in tax revenues a year, the legislation faces tough opposition from a coalition of family and evangelical groups and professional sports leagues. Mike Pesca reports on Wednesday's hearing before the House Financial Services Committee. |
