assuming he doesn't raise here with air regularly, his range has you crushed

Re: QQ,ace on flop, shoveing over his raise...this ok?
he has pos on you, it's not a terrible spot to be playing Ax suited, and AJ-AK are definitely in his range.

[ QUOTE ]
assuming he doesn't raise here with air regularly, his range has you crushed [/ QUOTE ] I think this is incorrect. Be good if someone does the maths. We are likely slightly behind, but not crushed. Just off the top of my head, his range is prob: A2dd-AJdd = 8 hands that ... oh crap ... destroy us. I guess this is why AJ-AK here is not the same as QQ after all, cuz instead of splitting, we are totally destroyed 57dd/79dd/45s/9Ts = 4 hands of big draws we are splitting with (and there is 82 already in the pot). Hmm ... that doesn't leave many possible draws that are not strong draws. Ok, I think this makes it much more of a fold too. I guess if it was like 3d4dAx or 9TddAx it there would be way more non-big draws in his range. Oh, and then sets ya-da-ya-da Ok, I concede - this is a god forsaken spot and we are totally crushed. I guess it's closer if we have an A, and if the 6 and 8 being in use don't skew a very high number of his draws to combo-draws. [ QUOTE ] he has pos on you, it's not a terrible spot to be playing Ax suited, and AJ-AK are definitely in his range. [/ QUOTE ] Lol @ AQ/AK being in his range |

Re: QQ,ace on flop, shoveing over his raise...this ok?
With position, i would think he is more likely to float you than raise with his draws. i think your line is way too aggressive toward a narrow part of his range that even if he has, you are like 60/40 to beat. This is a bad spot tho, im not sure how id play the flop. I think if you get it all in like this tho it will end up with negative EV against his range.
