Ignoring Mods?
It would appear there is no support currently for the ignoring of moderators.
This makes sense due to the fact you want to make sure users see important posts, stickies, announcements, etc. However would it be at all possible to upgrade the forum software (not even sure if this is possible) such that you can ignore the mods non-stickied posts or their posts in forums they do not currently moderate? There is a small handful of moderators that frankly I would be pleased if I never saw another line of text from again. |

Re: Ignoring Mods?
interesting tidbit. if you have someone on ignore and they become a mod, you cant unignore them. how is that for cool features? you could just go back in time, ignore them and then have them on perma ignore!

Re: Ignoring Mods?
Believe it or not Iron, you are not in that small handful. Try harder!
And clearly one can just "scroll past their posts" if you wanted to, however the ignore function exists for a reason. Sometimes you can't help but to read something someone says (trainwreck effect). Then you want to respond and it's normally not exactly high brow and the thread dissolves into a crap fest of name calling and stupid arguments, and so on. |
