50NL: checking set behind on uberscary turn card?
Villain is 50/10, moderately aggro... might check a flush here. Thoughts?

Re: 50NL: checking set behind on uberscary turn card?
Sure this is fine, but PLEASE bet more on the flop... at least 7, closer to 8. I wouldn't mind a bet on the turn though, as there are a decent amount of river cards that we hate and only like 16 we like (10 to fill and 3 offsuit deuces and treys)

pot is 7.50, 5 is my standard cbet. How much are you betting w/ AA here? KsJs? 22?

[/ QUOTE ] I don't think this approach towards cbetting is sufficient, you should be betting more on flops that are draw heavy, see above, and less on K62 flops. Hand strength shouldn't be what deteremines your bet size, but rather the texture of the board. |

Re: 50NL: checking set behind on uberscary turn card?
Normally I'd be worried about villain cold calling out of the SB here, but he's 52/10...the flop is uglier than the first girl you banged so bet pot as mentioned by others for the reason that you're not likely to get paid off through value bets from the turn onwards because of how draw heavy the board is.
