Default Was anyone into NY Str8 -Edge hardcore 87-91?

I have been recently listening to old Gorilla Biscuits, Bold , Youth of Today, Judge and Turning Point (NJ), that was a good era of music. Going to CBGB's on sunday matinee shows, some of my favorite times.

Fugazi was a NY band from that era. Not sure if they fall into the OP category. I don't even know what "Str8-Edge Hardcore" means. That's why I used the ol' question mark.

fugazi was cool, they were from DC tho and not shove it in ur face str8 edge anymore , they were already out of this stage at this time, they started it all with Teen idols and Minor Threat in late 70's/ early 80s.
