Typical insane action Wynn hand
I raise on button with AKo, blinds call. 7 ways for 14SB.
flop is 2x3y5x 2 suits - I have a redraw. Checks to me and I bet, 5 players call, the CO raises (old man semi-lag Commerce style - WIDE range with his c/r) I call, all call. Turn is 4z. UTG bets. UTG is a very loose showdown monkey local, I don't see her bluff much. 1 caller, HJ flashes a 5 and mucks, I call, blind calls. UTG bets X or purple horseshoes river. Guy to my right says "we all have A?" and calls. I don't recall being in this situation before, one of the blinds looks like they are preparing to call. Whats my Action? This hand seems so simple yet its not so easy. |

Re: Typical insane action Wynn hand
what would happen if you 3bet the flop? as played call river and expect to lose but win half enough. guy to your right and blind guy probably have two pair or a set.

Re: Typical insane action Wynn hand
I don't think you should raise the river. I also don't think the river caller has anything but an Ace here. You're looking to either chop many ways or lose the entire thing.

Re: Typical insane action Wynn hand
currently 18 bets and 5 players in the pot. If we make these assumptions:
a) 4players have an ace. b) no players have a 6. c) 5th player is going to fold d) we can get one player with an ace to fold if we raise Then we gain 18/3 - 18/4 or 5.6-4.5 = 1.1BB with a raise. Sadly, all these assumptions are not always true. UTG has a 6 often. Random other player has a 6 sometimes. The guy with the ace we're trying to fold doesn't fold. I'm pretty sure this is a call. |

what would happen if you 3bet the flop? [/ QUOTE ] everyone would call. Decisions in multiway pots with overcards are made on the turn LDO Guy to my right flashed a 5 and insta-mucked, probably was something dumb like K5s, he is super agro and hates me because I owned him a bunch - in fact I moved to his left so i could own him some more to those who say check the flop - I have the best A, its a passive table, and I have a redraw - I'm betting with the hope that I see a free turn in this massive pot because with the exception of bozo to my right I'm not going to see any action from this table on the flop - I have little to be worried about. |

Re: Typical insane action Wynn hand
Preflop: Standard of course
Flop: I'm not sure I bet this. I can see betting if the game is passive and you expect a free card. Turn: Good River: I can't imagine doing anything other than calling. |

Re: Typical insane action Wynn hand
How is anybody with an ace folding to our raise? I think raising is quite bad.

Re: Typical insane action Wynn hand
I think the flop c-bet is quite bad. We're never folding out better hands or other aces and we might get c/r'd. Take the free card and reevaluate on the turn.

[ QUOTE ] I think the flop c-bet is quite bad. [/ QUOTE ] [/ QUOTE ] Same. Also I fold river here and maybe fold turn, certainly raising never crosses my mind. -DeathDonkey |
