I signed up for a partypoker account a few weeks ago and played for a week with no probs. Then I tried to log in and found that my account had been blocked. After 4 days and several emails I got a reply from partypoker asking me to send a scan of my drivers license to alerts@PartyAccount.com and efax@pay-pro.com. Is this normal? I can't see why they would need it - pretty tempted to withdraw all my funds as soon as I get back on and not go back :/

And, how are you going to withdrawal your funds unless you comply???? Once you comply why leave? A lot of other sites require verification, especially for withdrawing the first time.

It is just standard verification that you are who you say you are. Why do you have a problem with that?

No kidding. I prefer they verify this. Its possible that you may have had a similar match in name and\or location to someone else and they are verifying that you only have one account. The good thing about Party is they are usually very quick in verifying this information and opening your account back up.
