77 only one overcard on board against a semi short stack
Should I be going with this hand against this semi-short stack unknown, or is there no clear answer to this one? I would have to call about $50 to see a showdown after my flop bet.

you can shove or fold, doesnt matter much either way. he could be raping you with 89 though.

Re: 77 only one overcard on board against a semi short stack
This seems like a good spot to fold. He very likely holds 99 or TT or something (maybe even a set, especially even he puts you on an overpair such as jacks or queens). You are really running uphill on this hand with no real clue about your standing, so just let it go before the pot gets out of control on you.

99 and A8s are too likely, fold here
