yea but you get this $20 difference 4/5 times while the bad beat artist gets his $80 difference only 1/5 times. Getting it in as a favorite has no effect on your ability to run good or bad. The problem is the PokerEV graph under the "Game Analysis Graphs" tab skews results for certain styles of play. People should be using the graph from the "Luck Graphs" tab; that one has no skew.
