Get an outside line if needed (if dialing from a PBX etc) then dial the country code (0044 for UK) omit the 0 in the area code (since dialing internationally) and then dial the rest of the number. In all, dial 00441483747097.

That should do it.

Do I need to do something before I can make this sort of call from my cellphone? I don't want to make an international call from my company's phoneline.

(I ask because I tried what you said already and it says it could not be completed as dialed)

This is correct. I was forgetting the code to get an international line, which is typically 011 for the United States. Because of this you then drop one or both 0s of the country code you're dialing to (0044 for UK becomes 044 or 44).

Typically you won't be able to complete an international call from a cell phone. Some providers offer international calling plans at outrageous rates, but I find it's better to buy a calling card and using it when dialling internationally from my cell phone. Of course that means even more digits to dial, but what do you do, eh?

.. or you can get skype and do it for pennies. unless its a cell number, in which case you can still do it for normal cell rates.

Thanks for all the replies. It turns out I'm retarded and don't actually need to call that number.

I just realized that my Eurobet account had been closed and wanted to get what money I had left in that account back. I should have checked neteller first I guess...
