Explanation of plate tectonics.
I would like the Christians to please explain the biblical interpretation of how fossils and rocks of oceanic origin end up several thousand feet above sea-level.
Quite frankly, I don't get it! Thanks.

Another variation I've heard is "a test of faith" either by god or the devil. Not sure if this was meant as a serious argument though.
I've also heard arguments to the effect of god created the universe/Earth as if it were billions of years old already. This argument is commonly used to explain how we can see galaxies that are billions of light-years away (god created the photons "in flight").

[/ QUOTE ] According to young earth creationists, the great flood deposited all of the sedimentary rocks that the grand canyon goes through, and then cut the canyon. It also sorted all the fossils so the most primitive organisms are at the bottom. Pretty amazing.

Well yeah,
How come some fossils and rock formations "of the same age" are at different elevations? I suppose jesus and god sprinkled carbon here and there just to fool us? La, la, la....let's give the advanced, logical monkeys something to think about. God said, we'll put some fossils at 7000' and some more at sea-level. See what the monkeys think of that. Duh?

Well lets see what the bible says,
Every valley shall be raised up, every mountain and hill made low; the rough ground shall become level, the rugged places a plain. Sounds a bit like plate techtonics/ ice ages doesnt it?
