Beat: Dunno how to eat a McDonald\'s breakfast - advice pls
So I went for breakfast in McDonald's this morning (beat, I know) and ordered their sausage patty and pancakes meal, which comes with a pot of warm maple syrup. What the [censored] am I supposed to do with this?
Ended up eating the sausage between two pancakes, then poured the syrup over the third one by itself as a kind of dessert, but someone just now told me I was meant to eat it mixed in with the meat. [img]/images/graemlins/confused.gif[/img] I know they do some weird stuff with food in America, but that just sounds [censored] gross. Anyways, I remember that someone BBV is a fast food guru, so hoping either he or one of the Americans on here can set me straight on this please?

[/ QUOTE ] The syrup is for the pancakes. Meals in america often include more then one food item and sometimes you don't even eat them at the same time. See burger + french fries for another example from mcdonalds of this crazy idea.

Oh god do people really eat MCDs breakfast, I found it [censored] horrible that one time I ever went to MCs at that hour. I thought that they would serve hamburgers but [censored], no can do. SOME [censored] BREAKFAST [censored] NO!

order the bacon egg and cheese mcgriddles meal with a large coffee. eat the mcgriddles. go "goddamn, these are [censored] awesome." eat the hash browns, it kind of serves as a post coital cigarette. drink the coffee - i tend to kinda baby coffee. mcdonald's coffee is now quite good. this really isn't that hard.

Since I have a positive IQ and actually don't like syrup on my bacon or sausage (read: I also hate McGriddles), when I have a meal like this I eat it thus: 1) eat eggs and sausage 2) pour syrup on pancakes 3) eat pancakes. In a restaraunt, there is variance: place eggs/sausage on bread plate, pour syrup, eat pancakes, eggs, sausage at random intervals.
