Squeezing value from a multiway, big pot
I'm not sure checking the flop was the greatest move on my part, but what I'm interested in is the turn action.
Sometimes I get in situations where I don't know what to do to get everyone's money. On the turn, when I make my full house, I checked to induce some kind of betting, which definitely happened. Any input? You'll leave value in spots like this. Every made flush and every flush draw (on turn) are eager for throwing their dollars in your direction! There are few players at NL10 who know what a paired board + action means |

Re: Squeezing value from a multiway, big pot
If you do not want to lead flop like everyone else says Im okay with that if youre confident you can c/r. Normally I would lead here, like uhhh 90% of the time cuz its a limped pot so you really cant assume anyone is going to bet for you, but it worked out. Once you get to that spot tho, you MUST check raise his flop bet, and big too. The way it was played, raise/shove the turn depending on which one you think will get the most action for ya.

Flop is just sick bad. Think about what hands will give you action on the flop, then think about all the turn cards that can shut them and you down.
Lead pot on flop, 3bet over a raise. Raise pot on flop after this action. Don't you want their monies? Raise turn as played. |

Re: Squeezing value from a multiway, big pot
flop: play your set till it bleeds. Dont just put ppl on flushes and pray board pairs.
Turn: tough spot. I'd say raising is best (but not too much) so that flush draws call. When they jiss, they are usually c/f, so tiy get no value. Get the value while they are still drawing. Calling is okey too I think. But only if you feel busted draws will bluff river. (or if you somehow put them on flush) |
