Default Poker Player Impressions

what are some first impressions you guys have had of poker players you've seen? this is meant to be in good humor, nothing personal...i mean, poker players do have the most diverse background of any "sport" out there. and there are some really funny looking ppl.

Freddy Deeb - from the first time i saw him, he's always looked like a sleezy guy to me. can't put a finger on it, but he just looks like you could be sleezy.

Carlos Mortensen - looks like a serial killer to me for some reason (esp when he's thinking or upset).

Clonie Gowen - looks like my high school homecoming queen.

Mike Matusow - like a bouncer who eats a lot of donuts.

Johnny Chan - looked like a world class poker player.

Phil Gordon - total dweeb.

Gus Hansen - a tennis or bicycling athlete.

Phil Ivey - like a 14 year old kid sneaking his way into a big game.

David Pham - Asian mafia...

David "Devilfish" Ulliot - like a cheap imitation gangster

Chris Moneymaker - total amateur

I think TPB had a poll a while back as to 'Which poker player is most likely to be a serial killer?'.

The 'winner' was Ted Forrest (Phil Hellmuth was marginally behind!).

what is TPB? ....hmmm, yeah, defintely Ted Forrest...he looks like the stereotypical guy you see in wanted photos for serial killers or the local neighbor sex offender, lol! ...porn star though?....yeah i could see Ted in that role too....Ted could be a lot of sleezy characters with his look.

OK, this is wrong...no more talking about these guys. But it was all in good fun while it lasted.

Btw, I love Ted Forrest's game!

Todd does look potentially scary (bouncer type). Victor seems like he has no regard for money....

Grinder?..i hated him first time i saw him...i agree...personality seemed punkass-ish...

Ted Forrest is one of the most interchangeable guys though...i could see the porno star, serial killer, neighborhood sex offender, police officer, Catholic priest, pizza delivery driver, high school teacher, used car salesmen possibilities...

I feel sorry for you if old Clonie is good enough looking to be the homecoming queen at your high school.

I always though ted forrest looked more like a 70's porn star. When he hit a big card at the heads up championship last year, he got an excited, aggressive look on his face like you would see in a money shot. I thought it was pretty funny
