Live 2/5NL Uncapped..
This was about a week ago at cesars 2/5 NL uncapped..
about 11 AM... i have about ~850 behind I raise utg+1 to 25 with AQo.. Mp calls, CO calls... Flop Q-10-x I lead for 50... Mp folds... CO makes it 125 to go... CO, just sat 1 hand ago, and is an old guy with beady eyes and about 900 behind... I think i should fold here.. but I call and re-evaluate turn.... So pot is ~300.. Turn total low brick.... I check, CO INSTA-INSTA shovees for ~800 more... I puke, show, then fold... I get berrated because he was obviously bluffing with his giant overbet, and his beady eyes surely make this possible... Thoughts and better lines please? |

don't show unless you want the consequences [/ QUOTE ] I did want the table to see my hand, because there were 2 very good players at the table whom I wanted opinions from, and I wanted to see how the old man reacted.... I think i folded a winner obviously, but how can I call that shove? The worst part of it all, is that the old man immediately changed tables, for the hit and run... |

Re: Live 2/5NL Uncapped..
i'm not sure i would be able to call that shove either... esp since no reads (other than his eyes)...
his pf reraise is pretty strong... how are you so sure he was bluffing? |

If you are folding and showing that you are folding in spots like this, especially with a couple of good players on the table, you have just rolled out the red carpet invetation to blow you off every hand you play. |
