Don't check flop. It is kind of a scary flop, but I think you're better off just betting it instead of inviting him to widen his range considerably to play.

Fold PF. KJ is an ugly hand against villain's bet-call(PF) range even when it hits.

I'd just bet/call this flop.

Defend your blinds with hands like small pp or sc. KJ is a hand that plays like [censored] out of position, and like double [censored] in a large pot. So stop [censored]

bet/call the flop...or crai...you 3-bet a marginal hand and you flopped TP with a straight draw. if you're not willing to put chips in post flop you shouldn't be 3-betting pre-flop imo.

This is nonsense.

His attempt to steal is 21%, so KJ doesnt fair that bady against his range.

Alot of the time he fold to the 3 bet (small pairs etc), or calls with these / AK and folds to my probable c-bet on most flops.
From Pokerstove his range is approximately any pair, any broadway (ie QT) and A7+.

Given that he calls, and that we get to see what the flop brings, we have a whole new load of information on which to base our decision. We should not ignore this information 'because we re-raised with KJ in the first place'.

When he calls the re-raise we can re-evaluate his hand range against the flop texture. I would assume his hand range for calling re-raises in position to be approx 88 or 99+, AK, possibly AQs. Against that range on this flop texture our hand is garbage.

Ignoring this new information and 'sticking to our guns' is criminal.
