Getting Poker Rate at Commerce
It's been about two years since I last went to Commerce. If I remember correctly, all I had to do was book a room on the website for any rate and then once I get to the poker room tell one of the floor people to call the hotel and give me the poker rate. If I remember correctly, this only needed to be done once and no one kept track of hours played (I'm going to average 6+ hrs/day, mostly 20-40, FWIW).
So, is the procedure for getting the reduced rate still the same now? Also, has anyone had any problems (i.e. thought you'd get the poker rate, but find out they won't give it to you at check-out)? By the way, does anyone happen to know what the poker room rate is these days? |

Re: Getting Poker Rate at Commerce
Now the floor man will walk over to the front desk at some point and let them know to give you the rate. They will give you a laminated card which is valid for a year so that in the future you won't need to get a floor man anymore. It's $109 pretax for me everytime, wish it was 89

Thanks for the info. Maybe the $110 I was remembering was without tax after all.
