Player Loss Rates...
if this has been discussed before and someone has a link i would much appreciate it...
i was playing in a very good mid limit BM game recently with a player that had a VPIP of 100 and PFR somewhere around 20 or so...obviously this is a good player to have in the game, but im wondering just how good...a friend asked me what i thought my expectation was in this game, but i had a hard time coming up with a number/estimate... for a player as described above, VPIP 100 PFR 20 who plays too aggressively and goes to far with his hands postflop, how much does this player lose per hour or /100 hands? thanks... |

I would think about moving if I were you... [/ QUOTE ] I believe Thirddan plays at commerce. So he might be talking about 40/80. |

Re: Player Loss Rates...
I would say about 6BB/100 but he would flame out.
The WORST long term players are onln in the -2BB/100 range but short term you can be pretty horrific. |

depends a lot on how tough his opponents are. if youre talking about the 20 at commerce that game is soft so he could last a long time. |

Re: Player Loss Rates...
Played with such a guy last night on party NL $25. He played every hand, raised and called every raise no matter what. Sometimes he had good cards but most of time of course he didnt. He built his stack to $250 basically through sheer and dumb luck. He stacked me 2x and I was a huge fav both times I got it all in against him. 1) AA vs KJ after I 3 bet him and go all in preflop. 2) Pocket 10s vs j-3 he flops a set and then makes quad 3s. I kept reloading and his donkey luck started to run out. He left with $0. What a roller coaster ride it was. Here was his final hand:
Party Poker No Limit Holdem Ring game Blinds: $0.10/$0.25 6 players Converter Stack sizes: UTG: $39.76 UTG+1: $99.43 hero: $102.35 Button: $38.09 SB: $12 BB: $10.20 Pre-flop: (6 players) hero is CO with UTG raises to $0.5, UTG+1 folds, hero calls, Button folds, SB calls, BB calls. Flop: ($2, 4 players) SB checks, BB checks, UTG bets $0.25, hero calls, SB folds, BB calls. Turn: ($2.75, 3 players) BB checks, UTG checks, hero bets $2, BB calls, UTG raises all-in $39.01, hero calls, BB folds. River: ($82.77, 1 player + 1 all-in - Main pot: $82.77) Results: Final pot: $82.77 hero shows Td Kd UTG doesn't show 5d Qd |
