Vomiting @ $50NL is a little extreme.

No sorry American stranded on Stars. But you can spare me from this kinda stuff eh?

Assume a decent 8/6 villian and put him on a range.

There is a saying that if you lose a pot with hand like quads you were SUPPOSED to lose your money.

Focus more on the marginal hands not these freaks of nature hands. Do you think HE would have folded if he had 66 and YOU had 99? Do you think Phil Ivey would of?

Seriously, next hand please.

OK, you will see the following more often than quads:

A badly played 4 [img]/images/graemlins/heart.gif[/img]5 [img]/images/graemlins/heart.gif[/img]

AA/KK which he made a complete mess of, which he is desperately trying to salvage (happens a lot at NL50)

A [img]/images/graemlins/heart.gif[/img]K [img]/images/graemlins/heart.gif[/img]

A counterfeited 33 which is hoping to knock you off your bare 6

Complete air

98 or 9-10

And the number 1 most likely hand is:

A badly played A9s.

Any 9 is calling. Get it in.

I understand what you are saying - an 8/6 villain doesn't play these hands. True, he doesn't USUALLY. But

(a) 75 hands isn't enough to say he IS 8/6 - statistical variance is more likely than him have quads
(b) If he hasn't been in play recently he might be trying to mix it up - more likely than quads
(c) A MISCLICK is more likely than quads.
(d) Elvis Presley may have crached a UFO into Pokerstars causing a server error that made him acidently call with A9s preflop. This is about as likely as quads.

In conclusion, just push the damn thing.

do you mean vomiting for joy?

Vomit that you didn't bet more on the turn?

I don't get it.
