$2/$4 Combo draw facing a \"in yo face\" turn C/R
Villian is WSU Slacker, I think he is pretty good, our history is kinda nutty, but nothing rediculous, I just 2 barreled from the button on this table like an orbits ago and he folded, but I don't think he really cares that much.
PokerStars No-Limit Hold'em, $4 BB (5 handed) Hand History Converter Tool from FlopTurnRiver.com (Format: 2+2 Forums) saw flop|saw showdown Hero ($419.95) SB ($444) BB ($400) UTG ($621.95) MP ($310) Preflop: Hero is Button with 3[img]/images/graemlins/club.gif[/img], K[img]/images/graemlins/club.gif[/img]. 2 folds, Hero raises to $8, 1 fold, BB calls $4. I'm not sure if he sizes a strong made hand like this, but I have been fooled before. |

you have pretty much no FE, and you're pretty much only ahead of a lower fdraw.
i'm not a fan of the minraise preflop--he could have lots of random hands that you might rule out if you had made a real raise (eg would a decent player call a raise out of the blinds with x,y,z). |

I'd rather chk the turn so I don't have to deal with this.

[/ QUOTE ] [/ QUOTE ] i dunno, how often do you really see somebody c/c flop and c/r turn with a set on a two-flush flop? i think your line is fine and i'd call. you lose a lot of value from smaller flush draws if you just check the turn, and i think that villain often has the nut flush draw + gs when he c/r's the turn. this extra large c/r is often "i have a draw and i want to crai but the pot's too small so i'm going to come close to crai." i would bet the turn smaller to get smaller fd's to call since we definitely want them in the pot. |
