Default Tourney Situation on the bubble

Me and my friend are debating on which one is the correct move:

Chip Leader has: 6600
My friend: 2500
Me: 3500
Chip Low: 900

Blinds 150/300

The chip lead is in the bb, I am in the sb, chip low is UTG and my friend is on the button.

My friend picks up AKo on the button, he pushes all in. Now the argument is which is the better move, folding to money or risking to try and double up.

I am saying that, I think it is more profitable to fold to money or the not as good idea to just raise the hand and play it on flop. While he thinks its more profitable to just push all in against the chip lead in the BB.

So I am asking you guys which one is the more correct move.

Payout structure?

Unless there is something unusual with the payout structure pushing AK in this spot is standard.
