(5.5) 45-man

UTG 33/19 SB 39/15 ~30 hands for both partially the reason i folded is because i never saw either of them go all-in. is that a good enough reason? Full Tilt Poker No Limit Holdem Tournament Blinds: t80/t160 8 players Converter Stack sizes: UTG: t4185 UTG+1: t960 MP1: t3535 Hero: t3780 CO: t5700 Button: t3220 SB: t13135 BB: t1280 Pre-flop: (8 players) Hero is MP2 with K[img]/images/graemlins/spade.gif[/img] A[img]/images/graemlins/club.gif[/img] UTG raises to t560, 2 folds, Hero raises to t1440, 2 folds, SB raises all-in t13135, BB folds, UTG calls all-in t3625, Hero folds. |

Re: (5.5) 45-man
First time action gets to me I shove, with <7x his raise size I dont see any point in a RR less than AI.
As played it's a crappy situation but you only need about 20% equity to be able to profitably call and you surely have it in a 5.5 |

Re: (5.5) 45-man
I dont think you can put in a third of your stack and fold to a shove.
I think this is a terrible fold. Hand 0: 41.131% 39.15% 02.05% 1485682 77740.83 { TT+, AKs } Hand 1: 34.986% 33.23% 01.81% 1261261 68636.50 { 99+, AQs+ } Hand 2: 23.883% 21.24% 02.69% 805950 101908.00 { AKo } We are looking at a call of 2250 to win 11580, so we need 19.4% equity in the pot for a call. If we put them on top 2.5% and top 3.3% hands we still have equity to make a call, even giving us a 10-15% extra value to the chips in our stack. Just a gut check, dont put a third of your stack in and fold, is a pretty good motto to live by. In order to not have our 19% equity in the pot we need to have ranges like Hand 0: 50.732% 50.00% 00.74% 1756820 25848.83 { QQ+ } Hand 1: 30.382% 28.58% 01.80% 1004309 63316.67 { TT+, AKs } Hand 2: 18.885% 17.43% 01.46% 612477 51174.33 { AKo } So... SB is folding Jacks here? UTG is folding 99? Both of them are folding AKo? I doubt it. |

Thanks 4card. btw, results: SB JJ UTG AQs Me AKo K on flop I would've took it haha. do you think in the situation before facing UTG raise i should've just called? |
