For me it was a Ken Griffey Jr. catch at the Kingdome when I was much younger. Against the Indians he basically ran up the wall and made the snag sorta over his back, amazing.
What have you all had the chance to witness in person? |

My sophomore year of high school, our men's basketball team hit a half-court buzzer beater to send our team to the state tournament.
Then, in the state finals, our PG took the ball coast-to-coast with ~7 seconds left and threw up a floater in the lane for the win, and to this point, our only men's state title of any shape, form, or fashion. |

in high school dude hit a sick bicycle kick from about 22 yards (thats fairly far for a normal shot, just outside the box) on rope in the top corner. no goalie in the world coulda stopped it. i was standing about 5 feet away from the kid.
my dad was filming the game and sent it to the kid. |

[/ QUOTE ] slight hijack, far from the most impressive thing i've seen, but i personally drilled a pass out of the air on a single touch from about the same spot on a frozen rope so hard it twisted the side netting around the rear goalpost. this was in basically an intramural college game but it was still pretty sweet. you couldn't have made a more perfect shot in that situation. most impressive thing i've actually watched was probably daniel cabrera no-hitting the red sox for five innings. he fell apart in the sixth but through five innings he just had some of the nastiest stuff you can imagine. saw a few good lobs to vince when he was at carolina but i couldn't tell you who they were against or who threw them or anything. |

Very early in Mo Vaughn's Red Sox career (1989?) he KILLED a ball to deep right field at Memorial Stadium in Baltimore. I swear I've never seen a home run ball fly over the fence so fast.

[/ QUOTE ] it was a high-bouncing ball that our player/coach had served me right in the middle of the field. the best part was before i even made contact he saw me running onto it and how well timed it was and just yelled 'nite-nite!' and POW. man i could probably never do that again in like 1000 tries. |
