3/6 River top 2 facing unusual heat
Villan is Imperatorce who I have as 24/15 but my friend said he recognized him a a 2/4 nit who plays more like 17/10. Anyways, here's the hand:
Full Tilt Poker, $3/$6 NL Hold'em Cash Game, 6 Players LeggoPoker.com - Hand History Converter CO: $588 BTN: $615.45 SB: $600 Hero (BB): $601.20 UTG: $437.25 MP: $767.50 Pre-Flop: A[img]/images/graemlins/club.gif[/img] K[img]/images/graemlins/club.gif[/img] dealt to Hero (BB) 4 folds, SB calls $3, Hero raises to $18, SB calls $12 Flop: ($36) K[img]/images/graemlins/heart.gif[/img] J[img]/images/graemlins/club.gif[/img] 9[img]/images/graemlins/diamond.gif[/img] (2 Players) SB checks, Hero bets $26, SB raises to $86, Hero calls $60 Turn: ($208) 4[img]/images/graemlins/spade.gif[/img] (2 Players) SB bets $150, Hero calls $150 River: ($508) A[img]/images/graemlins/spade.gif[/img] (2 Players) SB bets $346 and is All-In I was afraid of two pair so I was playing cautious but now the A hits and he still shoves (he timed down a lot if that matters). Are we ahead most of the time here? |

Re: 3/6 River top 2 facing unusual heat
The fact that he just completed the SB and is now betting hard confuses me

Re: 3/6 River top 2 facing unusual heat
his limp calling range preflop doesn't have very many hands that check-raise this flop. i'd be shocked if he ever has a set here, and he might go nuts with KJ or A9 or something. who knows?
i can't find a fold. river only helps you vs his range. if it's QT, pay it. |

If you're even considering folding the river here you should have folded on the turn.

2 pairs make up at least half his range here. He's soooo bad. Snappy Snap!

well the river is def a call, but I would have folded somewhere before that [/ QUOTE ] I agree on both points. I would probably just pitch it on the flop to be honest vs someone you know is nitty. There arent many hands he can have that you really want to continue your hand against. If you didn't have your friend's read I can see you taking your line (with a river call). |

U just sucked out pal. Call and see a lower 2-pair 2/3 of the time and a set/str8 1/3 of the time and then just suck it up.
