River $218 6 [img]/images/graemlins/spade.gif[/img] UTG shoves, Hero calls $30 My main worry was the turn but 1 I didn't want to check with button behind me or give a free card to the ace. |

I guess there was no reason not to shove the turn but plenty of reasons to do so.
Now for a leading question. Is there any point at which I can get away from the hand without losing my stack if behind? |

UTG had flopped a set of 6s which quadded up on the river. This was in no way intended to be a beat post, but when running very bad you do need to question whether a hand where you got stacked could be avoided. Happy that I played it OK now. |
