NL 50: AA gets raised on dry flop
I thought there were two players in the pot, hence the too-large 3bet. What is standard against unknown villain here?

Classic spot for a Stack-A-Donk line...
PF 3 bet size is fine... |

Re: NL 50: AA gets raised on dry flop
Stack a donk is where you smoothcall the raise on flop and then c/r all in on turn. We are assuming villain is the donk and you are the stacker.

Re: NL 50: AA gets raised on dry flop
I only ask because I've been playing NL50 for 40k hands now, and I feel like a pair is never good when villain raises a flop.

Re: NL 50: AA gets raised on dry flop
Villain min-raise (well, that's practically all it is) suggests he likes his hand a lot or is trying to "find out where he's at" and/or slow down the action.
So much money went in preflop, though, that you're obviously committed with your overpair. And we don't know if we can count on Villain to keep betting or not. There is always still the river even if he doesn't bet the turn, but I probably just push immediately. |

Re: NL 50: AA gets raised on dry flop
fold or shove. into a 22.2 pot, villain put another 17 dollars... i would fold, assuming he has pocket queens, with a very good likely hood too...

Re: NL 50: AA gets raised on dry flop
Wouldn't villian pull this trick with AQ?
