444 against reraised flop
I got no reads on the opponent (SB), this is his one of his first played hands. No previous info on him.
I am BB. NL 0.5/1$ Dealt to me 4[img]/images/graemlins/heart.gif[/img] 4[img]/images/graemlins/diamond.gif[/img] MP raises to 3.5$ SB call BB call Flop: A[img]/images/graemlins/heart.gif[/img] 6[img]/images/graemlins/diamond.gif[/img] 4[img]/images/graemlins/spade.gif[/img] SB checks, BB checks, MP bets 5$, SB calls, BB raises to 15$, MP folds, SB raises to all in. BB? Comments about the play? Should I reraise pre flop? |

Re: 444 against reraised flop
Reraising pre is an option, but since both are unknown and you are getting nice odds a call is probably better. I don't mind c/r'ing this flop, but make it a bigger one and stick your money when SB pushes - you are only losing to one reasonable hand here.

Re: 444 against reraised flop
u have to be ahead here, most probably against a big ace, at worst i expect to see a6. insta shove imo. im not sure about reraising preflop the only flop u will be happy to see is one with a 4 on it really. i like call here.

Agreed, if you are against AA or 66 that's just unlucky

Re: 444 against reraised flop
never reraise preflop with 4's oop unless the original raiser is a nit and will fold to most flops, as played easy call

Re: 444 against reraised flop
I thought of this,
we both flopped something and waited to see MP's action. MP probably was crap (KQ, something like that) I didn't think SB is on A-high or 2 pairs else I should've expect raise on MPs bet. something worries me about his cold call to the fair bet. the hand range was- SB slow playing AA hoping one of the players hit an A SB slow playing 66, puting me on A-high. SB playing 75s and couldn't hold it to call another raise. |

Re: 444 against reraised flop
I agree, SB is showing a strong line and i wouldn't be too surprised to see 666 here, but an unknown NL100-player will show you random bs way more often than that. FWIW he might be playing AJo this way thinking he just has flopped the nuts.

Re: 444 against reraised flop
I assume 100bb stacksizes. Easy call. If he has 66, then too bad. AA is possible but less likely than 66. This will be AK-AT/A6/A4 or some other garbage way more often than AA/66.

Re: 444 against reraised flop
I didn't fold here while I felt it gonna blast in my face.
His cold call and all in where very confident moves, I didn't pick any hesitation. I called knowing I am probably going to say bye bye to a nice piece of my stack, and saw his trip 6's taking the pot. |
