Default Nick Geber... there\'s a fellow named Bart Hanson

Posters that bash announcers are a dime-a-dozen.

I'm just posting to tell you that Bart Hanson would add a load of credibility to your WSOP webcasts. I understand that he may be playing in some events, but to overlook trying to get him into the booth would be a mistake.

I know that Alex Jacob is one of the best players with tremendous results recently, but his table demeanor carried over into the booth. Informative, but lacking in presentation. I do feel that he is what is good about today's young players.

Jeff Madsen, certainly good to have the reigning POY doing commentary, but the prop betting really did get in the way of the poker match.

I realize that Howard David is a veteran PBP guy and likely under a contract, but the way he was bashing the play in the women's tournament should be left to the color. He is obviously out of his element, as everyone knows, but he did bring a sense of credibility to the telecasts with his experience when initially hired LY.

Scott Lauer does bring professionalism to the telecasts, but is far from colorful.

And the exit interviews... well... I know nothing needs to be said in this department. While we have come to expect beautiful women performing this duty, it has become somewhat painful. I realize that Lacy Jones has worked hard to learn the game and enjoys playing poker, but that doesn't seem to come across in the interviews where we get the same questions of each player. Luckily, many poker players are humble people that don't get interviewed often, because some of the nature of the questions would get laughed at by today's professional athletes, who have no qualms in telling reporters what they think of a redundant or insignificant question. The sub was over her head, too. Ironically, when u did an interview that I saw, your questions were very spot on. I do realize that the interviewee is likely not seeing the telecast.

I would love if your could add Bart Hansen to your telecasts. Bart was the host of Live at The Bike for two years before the show went defunct. He started a bit green, but over time developed into what many at the respected twoplustwo forums think is poker's finest announcer.

I hope you have been able to see LATB before. If not, there are some archives still available at thepokerbay.

Bart would not detract from the game and if the game was tight, he would probably say so without using corny one liners. He also brings excitement when necessary with his famous "Bartgasm" a term coined by his fans when a upset would occur at the river in a huge pot. This is, after all, The World Series of Poker.

Great job with the telecasts and hope u can get those people to show their hole cards once in awhile.

It'll be available in the archives usually the following day, but up until this point, only folks who have paid can access them. Not sure if that will still be the case given that this event was a free live webcast.

first of all, thanks for the kind words ramon. the event i did color commentary for (event 10, $2000 NL) was of course my first try ever doing commentary with hole cards. i tried my best to call the action as i saw it, of course it was challenging to fill space at times and my voice is not the best i guess.. anyway i'd love to hear suggestions on how to improve if anybody else out there has watched it.. i might have another shot in the booth before the series is over..
