Default The \"Doyle Brunson\" hand takes down 52k bad beat jackpot

Super Jackpot is four of a kind beat by higher hand...
3-6 game at Barona Valley Ranch, pot has limpers with 99 and 10-2 in the BB.
Flop is 2-2-9, turn comes another deuce and river is a 9.
10-2 gets 26k, quad nines 13k and table share is 2k.
So the Doyle Brunson hand may suck, but here's another tale of it taking down a big score.

Too bad you posted that. Now you owe Doyle $2600 for royalties.

Nice work. Congrats.

i think he means you have to have a pair to have the bbj qualify.

in this case the op would have had to have had pocket 22 for his hand to qualify. the kicker in the hand doesn't qualify as being part of the hand for some reason.

there is a casino in tulsa where i used to play that has this rule.

There's a full house on board. Split pot.

I don't get it...

Maybe a nice swift kick in the nuts will make you get it.

You can have a board of

Q [img]/images/graemlins/spade.gif[/img] J [img]/images/graemlins/spade.gif[/img] T [img]/images/graemlins/spade.gif[/img] 9 [img]/images/graemlins/spade.gif[/img] 8 [img]/images/graemlins/spade.gif[/img]

and have a BBJ too (trick).
