2/4 NL. I don't have the HH in front of me, so this is just from memory
effective stacks between me and cutoff: $800 UTG+1 is short at $85. I am in BB with 7 [img]/images/graemlins/heart.gif[/img]8 [img]/images/graemlins/heart.gif[/img]. UTG folds, UTG+1 limps, CO (21/15/4) raises to 16, button folds, SB calls, I call, UTG+1 calls. Flop 5 [img]/images/graemlins/club.gif[/img]6 [img]/images/graemlins/spade.gif[/img]7 [img]/images/graemlins/diamond.gif[/img] SB checks, I lead for $40, UTG+1 raises allin for $85, CO calls $85, SB folds, I? Edit: I can reraise or call and my question is which of these is best, and also any comments on my flop lead. |

are you even allowed to raise? i dont have a [censored] clue why, but at times when a shorty is allin and someone overcalls, i cannot put in more money on the given street.
anyways, id flatcall. |

... it has to do with the size of the raise. if the size of the raise is less than a minraise then you are not allowed to reopen the betting when it comes back to you unless some larger stack behind reopens betting by raising the shortie's bet
that being said i think calling is about a billion times better than raising. |

edit: shiiiiiiit misread hand yes raise is fine [/ QUOTE ] What does getting him off of his hand do for us? We that sure we are good vs shorty? I think this accomplishes nothing with a draw. It does help that we have a pair though. |

Calling seems like the obvious choice here. Even if we are sure CO will fold to our reraise here we dont want this. We obv want him in the hand for implied odds reasons.
