Poker Academy Prospector Discussion
Poker Academy’s Prospector
Introducing the next generation in online poker hand history and play analysis from the makers of Poker Academy Pro. Prospector is a quick, efficient and powerful hand history analyzer. With many reports, charts and in depth filters, Prospector can help anyone improve their game by identifying potential leaks. Fast & Easy Importing: Import your favorite poker sites hand histories or let Prospector auto-discover your hand history files. An easy to navigate and efficient database allows you to quickly load previous sessions and tournaments. Each session and tournament is selectable individually or in any combination needed. Prospector can parse hand histories very quickly allowing you to import all your hands and start your analysis in no time. For example, using a standard PC, in the example above 1.2 million hands were imported in 40 minutes for an average of 500 hands per second. Any existing hand histories will be ready to go in a fraction of the time as has been the standard in the past. Simple & Powerful Analysis: Data is presented in an easy to read format. There are tables containing data with easy to use customization, and additional graphical views of the data to really aid visualization and make patterns stand out. Generate Reports and Create Filters on Key Areas of your game Prospector's easy to use reports save you time by highlighting many strengths and weaknesses in your game at a single glance. With a single click the report will automatically create the necessary filters and load your hands in a Detailed Player Statistics screen so that you can drill down further and really dig through your data. Prospector puts great emphasis on letting you breakdown and view your data very easily. For example, you can select and/or view important hands directly from your bankroll graph. Every row in a table can be selected and the hands making up that row can be easily accessed in many useful ways. This includes adding a filter for those hands, loading the hands in a hand history browser, or loading the hands into a graphical hand replayer. Every hand can be exported for 2+2 posts, already properly formatted. Can you provide a list of filters available? 3/4 betting? Street when folded? Lines taken? Etc. [/ QUOTE ] We currently have filters that include Graph Range, Game Type, Number of Players, Position, Final Stage Played, Stealing Blinds, Cold Calls, Played Hands, Hole Cards and advanced betting seq filters (exp. last to bet or raise on street), for more details check out our help doc: http://www.poker-academy.com/prospec...lp/filters.php We also do table row filters, that is when you select row(s) in the table you can filter the rest of your hand on these specific hands. There currently there is no stat for 3 or 4 bets. We break down your betting seq by street, and you can combine multiple lines as filters to dig into any full seq you are interested in. A previous post by one of users had a great filter sequence: This is the image here: |

Re: Poker Academy Prospector Discussion
The demo is to give you a feel for how the software works and operates. Not something that can give you results that will be a good representation of how someone plays. Poker Tracker's demo has the same limitation.

Re: Poker Academy Prospector Discussion
With these types of programs a 30-day trial is much more useful than a #hands limitation for obvious reasons. I don't understand why these companies don't see this. So what if I import all my hands? I'll also be able to get full use out of the program and be even more inclined to purchase it once the 30 days is up. 1000 hands is one session. What am I going to get out of that?
