KK BvB
Villain runs at 34/5/5.6 over a small sample. I didnt see a reason to go crazy on the flop as I was in position. Maybe raising is better but I thought it was pretty close either way.

Re: KK BvB
Really bad card for your hand. Before the turn play, I'd say the most likely card in his hand is a J, club or not. The 8 completes the straight, and while not a club, it's a pretty bad situation. I point at his overall aggression as a reason to repop the flop. I can see him getting it AI with a pair/straight draw or pair/flush draw type hand, and there are so many cards bad for your hand that will be difficult to play if any more come.
Call me crazy but I think I'll fold to his bet. We aren't getting odds to draw to our straight, and what happens if the Jc comes? I doubt if we call that he'll check the river, and what do we do if we flat, the river bricks, and he leads out for like 50% of pot again? |

Re: KK BvB
The sample is only 38 hands so his AF can change dramatically. With that said, his AF is a reason why I dont think a turn call is too bad in that he doesnt seem the type to slow down with a Queen just because a scare card hits.

[/ QUOTE ] If that's true, then why not raise? If you think he'll bet the river again even if a 3rd club/K comes, you don't think he'll call a reraise? If you flat call the turn, and the river is say, the 2d. He leads for $20. Will you call? |

Re: KK BvB
I really dont know, for some reason at the time I thought flatting was best but now that I think about it raising is definitely better.

Re: KK BvB
ur line is fine altho shoving is fine too imo.
but when u flat the flop u have to b able to dump on these turns. the part of his range that u were ahead of just crushed u thus now u r WELL behind his range not to mention that if u r still ahead u basically have no chance of gettin much more money in the pot unless he just bluffs off |

Re: KK BvB
He is calling your bet OOP, so i would really consider a pocket pair... Though it is true, there is a possibility of you facing an AQ, that possibility is less likely then him having 99, TT, QQ, 88, or a jack... I would say your well under here most of the time, don't commit urself any further. get out.
