Of course im 3betting this 95 % of the time preflop but now i decided to just call. i wanted to c/rai the turn but i think now thats bad . Bet/fold is much better. but is this a valuebet on the river as played??? |

Re: Slowplayed aces oop vs Tight player
wtf? What do you think he has? A Queen? His range is three Kings, boats, and draws. Why kill value from the only hands we beat?

Re: Slowplayed aces oop vs Tight player
idk, really. I never play Aces like this. He's tight and raised UTG, this is insta-reraise IMO. If he pushes flop, I fold. Here's why
Board: Kh Qh 4d Dead: equity win tie pots won pots tied Hand 0: 63.468% 61.66% 01.81% 100719 2956.50 { QQ+, 44, AKs, AhJh, AhTh, Ah9h, Ah8h, KQs, JTs, Th9h, KQo } Hand 1: 36.532% 34.72% 01.81% 56718 2956.50 { AA } But raise-folding sucks. I prob c/c flop if I take this line with AA pre. On river, I'm not really sure. I only know that betting $158 sucks lol. |

Re: Slowplayed aces oop vs Tight player
I dont think this is a good situation to flat pre as we are gonna be oop on all ensuing streets and obviously theres no chance someone squeezes behind you as you are bb

Re: Slowplayed aces oop vs Tight player
i doubt he is checking the turn very often with a hand you beat...VB on river is fine
a c/r on turn would be bad |

Re: Slowplayed aces oop vs Tight player
This is really terrible, if you flatcall preflop this is not the flop you want to get your money in on and you probably should check check/call 3 streets, vbetting if he ever checks behind. As played, check the river and probably call if he bets.
And obviously check/raising the turn is terrible... |

Re: Slowplayed aces oop vs Tight player
i dont really like the flop c/r but i do like the river value bet though. he should snap call with any Q perhaps even JJ/1010, hands he probably checks behind, since alot of draws missed
oh, and i hate preflop oop |
