Default general AK 3bet or call question

100BB stack in MP 20/5 (AA-99, AK-AQ) makes a standard pre flop raise. You have position with AK do you 3-bet or call? why?

How do the various variables (PFR, stacks, position etc.) change your answer?

Interesting ... the range you describe is 5% and yet your read is 20%. He limps the other 15%?

Was he first in?

What, are you serious? You are 50/50 vs. his range and have position.

That can't possibly be his full range. I'm 3betting a 20/5 IP with AK every single time.

Leveling us?

I hope so...

In all seriousness, you guys I think put way to much emphasis on ranges when playing against bad players and at SSNL. A 20/5 is a bad player, we 3bet here because he sucks, and we have a good hand, it's that simple...

against that range AK is an underdog ... that is why I asked how accurate that range is.

I 3 bet every time because I just don't think it is that tight

[censored] ranges...

Hes a bad player, he is likely to sometimes do terrible things and play horrible. We 3bet because of that reason and that reason alone.

Im not saying putting players on ranges and hand reading isn't important. It's just that it shouldnt be the determinging factor on how to play in situations like these.

He's a loose passive [censored] player, 3town alllllll day.
