Tenn. Martin -1.5 1 Unit [/ QUOTE ] Should those of us considering "NajdorfDefense non-conference home favorites of 0.5 to 4.5 points system" bets post them here or in a separate thread? Tennessee-Martin is playing Maine in Memphis (two hours away from campus) so I dunno if that would count as a home or neutral site game anyway. |

2 hours away from their campus is obviously a neutral-site game for both teams.

Re: NCAAB Week 1 Thread 11/5-11/11
Central Arkansas @ Kentucky OVER 136
UK has played 2 exhibition games so far (Pikeville and Seattle) and has scored 99 and 83 points while allowing 63 and 62 points. I would look for the UK defense to start getting sloppy in the 2nd half as we get a little tired. UK will be short Harris (started both exhibition games) and Jasper, so not as many bodies to keep the defensive intensity up. I also like Central Arkansas +27, but can't bet against my Cats. |

I like O140 in MEM/Rich.
RICH getting +29 might have some value IF they can keep the pace slower. But I think the chances of MEM blowing them out of the building is still too high. Would be leaning MEM is it was -25 or better. |

2 hours away from their campus is obviously a neutral-site game for both teams. [/ QUOTE ] Even when the opposing team is from a thousand miles away? I would think that more fans in Memphis would be cheering for Tennessee-Martin, but admittedly that may not necessarily translate to the same advantage as actually playing at home. BTW, on the Kentucky game, bills217 had an "auto-fade at Rupp" system last season. Eyeballing the schedule on Covers, it looks like UK went 8-8 ATS at home. I'd be curious to know if similar treatment is warranted this year. |
