I think there was more danger for the snake to get choked out. Cobras don't choke.

a) the snake had its poison fangs taken out or
b) its a new sort of population stabilzation program.

I'm kind of impressed that the baby wasn't scared at all. I feel like, even as a baby, I would have had thought that cobra was scary as hell. There's some sort of natural law that cobras are scary. I'm sure of it.

I love how the baby gives it that "oh helllll no" look after the snake attacks it. Meanwhile the snake's thinking "what the [censored], this thing should be dead by now"
