i have A8 preflop..
i raise in CO..villain calls in sb. he is a reg winner 24/18. flop 853 rainbow... he bets out 16/32... i make it 42.. he makes it 133.. what do you do now? eff stacks 400 |

I would also call flop, probably call turn.
When you raise, do you plan on getting it in? If not i don't like your raise because i don't see him bet calling with too many hands. And by folding you just build a pot that you are going to give away with decent equity. I would rather raise this flop with air and hands that you are comfortable getting it in with. I guess this could be way off, please correct me if that's the case. |

I'd call flop and evaluate turns. The flop call should slow him down, too.

Good chance he has air/straight draw, and a lot turn cards can make you make a mistake (solid reasoning, I know). If he has a set/overpair, nh. |
