how do you think child molesters should be punished?
do you think our country's current methods of punishing them are appropriate? given the extremely low ( as i understand it ) rate of recovery, and the damage done to the victims, i think this crime is in a way very very different than other crimes and would like to hear your thoughts.

The recidivism rate is so high that I believe they need to be given life sentences. Maybe they could be given the choice between a life sentence and castration in some cases. Whatever we do, we need to do more to protect the general public from them.

First Offense: Jail
Second Offense (clearly can't control themselves): Castration + Severe Restraints on mobility when parolled Third Offense: Life Jail, cuz anyone who commits the same crime after being caught twice is just worthless to soceity.
