A-k suited in the blinds vs a donk 200nl
villian is a huge donk 42/4/2 over like 160-170 hands as you can see he doesn't raise much but here he wants to get it in is anyone calling a player like this here with A-Ks.

Re: A-k suited in the blinds vs a donk 200nl
Assuming you haven't seen him do anything like this before, I'd probably fold. What range do you think he's fourbetting here? Did he just lose a big hand? What's your table image? Absent any of this info, I'd probably guess AA-QQ and AK with weight towards AA-KK. 4% is low.

Sigh, muck. Reraise to $20 preflop, and rebuy.

Re: A-k suited in the blinds vs a donk 200nl
i would reraise somewhat smaller, like 22 seems fine. And fold to the raise.
given your larger rr size, you may be potstuck vs his stack. I'd bet you aren't, and probably just fold even still. I just think he always has KK+ here. Pretty sure he can't have AK. QQ is maybe possible, but i think his range is def weighted toward AA. Pokerstove says: 23% to win vs KK+ 31% to win vs KK, AA, and half of the QQ combos. 35% to win vs QQ+ 41% to win vs QQ+ AK. You need 39.3% equity in the pot to shove. |

abdullaev,
My table image is taggy don't think i really got out of line here but he isn't the type to notice he plays his cards. Personlly I think his range here is qq+ weighted heavily to kk+ lke you say. I pretty much always fold here just seeing if anyone calls. Allthecheese, "Sigh, muck. Reraise to $20 preflop, and rebuy." ? |

Re: A-k suited in the blinds vs a donk 200nl
I'f you haven't seen him get out of hand preflop and his raising range is tight, this is probably a fold. $20-$22 seems good for a reraise, IMO. Hmmmm....a donk with 65BBs. Actually I'm not sure if stack sizes don't warrant a shove here. I don't much about adjusting preflop shove range based on stack size, so I fold, but would like to know more about what we'd do if he had 40BB.

If he had 40BBs, his reraise would be all-in and it would cost us 26BBs to call to win 54BBs. Insta-call.
