NL25 - tough spot with 99 - bottom straight
this hand has me confused after the flop comes down.

Check fold every street. His VPIP is quite high so *maybe* a c-bet takes it down often enough. I'm inclined to think not and would just give up right away so the flop check was good IMO. Maybe you could c/c the turn but that doesn't seem very profitable either.
