Best HU site other than FTP?
I have an existing account at FTP that does not have RB system. As you all know, playing HUSNG takes a lot of rakes away. So these are my questions:
1) Are there any other sites known for HU games? 2) A lot of people recommended me Titan and Party Poker but don't they not accept U.S. players? Is there any way to get around that? 3) If both answers are no, is it possible to close the FTP account and create a new one? Thank you in advance |

Re: Best HU site other than FTP?
I don't know if there's anywhere else US players can get rakeback.
PokerStars is the other obvious big choice. |

Re: Best HU site other than FTP?
Pokerstars offers rakeback in the form of FPPs and bonuses. I'm clearing a $7500 bonus this month which is obviously great. PS also has huge amounts of action for HU and I don't see why people look at the whole rakeback thing when deciding against stars.

Re: Best HU site other than FTP?
PP has 10% rake so that sucks.
cake poker maybe 33% rb an US players are allowed. Players are really soft there. |

I've heard that games are hard at the PS(too many good plrs). Is that true? [/ QUOTE ] Depending on the game, NLHE still seems to have low flop percentages. Used to be true in general but other games have flop percentages of 50% upwards - thus PS being tough is no longer the case - more like dodge the fish - it's like a pool of piranha. Sometimes I think that some of the players at PS think of it as a glorified slot machine - calls that make no sense given the texture of the board and lack of outs. Seen accidental reloads in fixed limit of $15K and in one case $100K at $1/$2 tables. In tune with the slot machine mentality at PS, be aware at PS HU - there seems to be this type of player (a lot of them - scammers) no matter the size of the HU buy-in price, who raises preflop and keeps pounding no matter what the texture of the board is - even if raised back hoping to hit or bluff you out - just hope the boards hit you and not them. I have had hands where AA9 flop and they are pounding and you have the A9 and they'll be pounding with 72s to give you an idea - in this case hopefully it's HU NLHE. |

Re: Best HU site other than FTP?
OnGame was great, but Hollywood Poker, Eurobet, PokerRoom, et al, no longer accept US players. Yes, these games were pretty descent.

I play on FTP without rakeback. It kind of sucks but I'm surviving.
