Results: On the turn, i know i am in trouble, almost dead against a 10, but still beating the queens and kings. What should my line be here? As you can prolly tell, i am just venturing out into deep stacked $ games. My thinking is the turn should be a check, then call a decent bet on the river, or i should bet the turn, then fold to a cr |

Re: AA vs turn check raise
against most villain I check behind turn and call a river bet simply because getting c/r here is so ugly plus you induce a bluff on the river which is great.

Re: AA vs turn check raise
I think either way, betting the turn is fine, folding to a raise.
As played, fold. |

[/ QUOTE ] Him drawing out here by being given a free card isn't that bad, atleast then you'd KNOW you were beat as supposed to being checkraised here and speculating a call. Ofcourse it is easy to say now. That doesn't warrant giving free cards ofcourse. I would be folding this turn against most players. |

Re: AA vs turn check raise
I'm new, but I think the problem is the turn. You bet out to see where you stand, when he shoots back over the top you got the answer you were looking for, and might put the hand away.

Re: AA vs turn check raise
i doubt villian has kk or qq after limping utg then calling a raise very often. checking the turn would be better. if you are going to be a 4 dollar bet here is bad. you're about pricing in the draws he could have esp. with implied odds. as played, if you call the turn c/r you have got to fold the river if he bets. if he's bad enough to do this with only a queen you'll find out soon and be able to adjust in the future.
