Default 5/10nl float, semibluff, jackpot

villain is a lagdonk like 50/20/2 or somethin. He opens my bb a fair bit. Soemtimes limp calling too. We go to war a bit because when he limps I raise and make his life shitay. My image is about 22/18 or so not really outa line. River is not a bluff.

why on earth are you floating w/ air against a 50/20.... they don't lay down hands

by the time we get to the river I think the raise is fine as long as you realize that it's pretty thin, but I'm still confused as to how we got to the river w/ this hand vs this villian....

well i'm trying to be optimistic about it...

but i dont know. seems like it'd take a very specific kind of crappy player to make this a good play on any street, and for all streets together to be good would be very rare.

also the size of your turn raise necessitates a river bluff being the plan, so i'd prefer to raise more on the turn and finish it then if i could.

flop raise not really believable so called flop to take it away on turn. A decent % of the time on the flop im ahead too. He makes a weak bet on turn so I raise.

Calling the turn a semibluff was a bit of a joke just to rile some people up hehe

[/ QUOTE ]

is it really necessary to pull a move like this versus this player?
