Field is too big to raise into (unless its three 40/5.0.5), plus your raise is way too small.
It would be hard to fold the flop for $0.10 since you have the 8d. |

Yeah, turn/river checks are standard. You won't be able to make any better hand fold on the turn/river, and it's rare that you'll get value out of Ax with no diamond.
