TT on a 5JJ Flop vs. raise
Villain is 45/16 and makes a lot of miniraising preflop...
Should I call down or easy fold on the turn? Re: TT on a 5JJ Flop vs. raise
Can I ask if it is standard to RR PF with TT in this spot? As played I would probably fold on the flop unless MP had the tendency to sometimes mincheckraise the flop and then check the turn.

Re: TT on a 5JJ Flop vs. raise
Can you give us a possible hand range he may be mincheckraising with? Is 77 etc in his range hoping you may have AK/AQ? Does he smoothcall RR's with big pairs? Will he checkraise trips or does he lead out or does he check/call/trap?

Re: TT on a 5JJ Flop vs. raise
no with big pairs he doesn't make miniraises preflop...trips checkraise and something like 77 is in his range too

Re: TT on a 5JJ Flop vs. raise
This looks like 2 different types of hands:
1. Nuts or Near the nuts 2. 77-99 hand Can't really go any further. There is not enough information here. With lack of information I would just muck here, but if he has been playing alot like this then I look him up, because that is a very small bet on the turn. I don't know the player though, like I said. This could be either on of the 2 listed above. It is all about how he has been playing. |

Re: TT on a 5JJ Flop vs. raise
I guess what I'd like to emphasize is that you either fold on the flop OR you call the flop and call the turn. You should not call the flop and fold the turn. You are not going to spike a T often.

Re: TT on a 5JJ Flop vs. raise
My first post covered that. If this player is likely to check the turn after this mincheckraise, then you can call. But if he will still bet the turn when you have him beaten, you need to be willing to call that turn as well or you should just fold the flop.
