Re: NL $100...big check re-reraise w/ tptk
Definitely bet out here. Let's say you bet, CO raises, and button reraises. This is such an easy fold. When they bet and raise in front of you, you *might* be ahead, but it will probably cost a stack to find out, and that's a bad situation.
I personally think this is a fold, possibly a call which is still bad. But I think a raise only will get called by much stronger hands. |

Re: NL $100...big check re-reraise w/ tptk
I concur...
Sometimes I will raise AQ preflop from the SB. Most of the time I will bet the pot on the flop...but I thought there was a good chance the aggros behind me would 1) bluff or 2) make a legitimate bet with QJ-type of hand...so in my mind I was c/r when it got back to me. The bet/raise certainly made it interesting though... |

Bet raise in front of you in an unraised pot is generally a clear fold.

Lead the flop, as played it looks as if you're crushed. Easy fold IMO

You have TPTK in a 5 way unraised pot, followed by a pot bet and a 4X raise = easiest fold ever.

Re: NL $100...big check re-reraise w/ tptk
jesus, extreme overplay with TPTK imo. unless you have a great read that button is a moron, i probably fold to button's reraise. given that you 3-bet, calling the push is a no brainer.
i also lead flop initially. leading this flop is much much better than c/r. doesnt blow it up as much, and your almost guarenteed to play for your stack if you c/r this flop whereas if you lead, you have the options of calling/folding/etc on the flop or future streets depending on your opponents/etc. |

Re: NL $100...big check re-reraise w/ tptk
And a check-raise here completely blows up this pot faster than we can control. Let's say you check-raise normally, to like 18 dollars or so. You have to follow up with about a 30 dollar bet, and anything on the river is a reasonable bet. Even if you check on the turn, you will get bet into a lot of the time by anyone who calls.

Re: NL $100...big check re-reraise w/ tptk
dude, i would say "oh thanks that i checked".
I really dont like it. First - u dont know where u are, and u will only now at showdown after putting all your chips in. Second - most of time u will be behind. ------- Question to u guys: Q6 here, easy push? |
