NL600, laying down a monster?
Villain is 27/4/2.5 over 278 hands. Think he would raise w/ AA UTG, or at least limp re-raise. He wants to get it in therefore naturally put him on a monster, dont know what kinda monster though. If this is a fold should I check-raise less on the river to easier fold if he pushes? Personally I like a C/R move here since he might be betting a broken str8-draw/a six. So I induce a bluff and hopefully get more money from a 6.
Possible hands: 66,A6,65,63,33 I beat like 1 hand but would you fold? Re: NL600, laying down a monster?
personally id never fold this in one million hands.
if he has any sense he doesnt have 6x given he flat called the turn with a straight stuff happening. id say he has 33. if he has you beat, meh, its abc imo. |

Re: NL600, laying down a monster?
he's never limping UTG w/ A6 and then calling a raise OOP.
67s, a few others pairs etc. i like betting the flop also.. and i think the river c/r works better if you bet the flop. you're getting your money in here every time, this is never a fold.. a line i like on the river is betting out $180 or so, unless your river line was giving him some bluff equity. if he has AA, tap the table. |

Re: NL600, laying down a monster?
I dont like the river CR... I think I fold to a 3bet on river unless I've seen him make some raises with mediocre hands previously

Re: NL600, laying down a monster?
Those of you advocate betting the river, what do I do vs a push? Call? If so why do I not C/R the hell out of him at the river, we dont want to make the tough decesions, we want him to make em?

Re: NL600, laying down a monster?
fold pf, bet the flop, bet the river... I'm calling any bet he makes. You're calling a push.

Re: NL600, laying down a monster?
AA seems so unlikely given the pf and flop action. 33/67 seems most likely of the hands you beat (and they seem likely given villain's stats). Even if you are behind, how can you even think aboout folding getting almost 4:1 with a full house?
