I fold a set
Villain wasn't too extraordinary he was like 20/5/4 or something over a small sample.

Re: I fold a set
Really looks like a flush.
I usually lead flop but I guess c/r can be ok too. |

Re: I fold a set
I would have folded the turn if he raised more. But I like the way this was played. You have good odds to fill up and your implied odds are enough to make this profitable.

Re: I fold a set
I may just stack off on the turn. This spot isn't very fun.

Re: I fold a set
The double busted straight draw got there on the turn as well.

I may just stack off on the turn. This spot isn't very fun. [/ QUOTE ] I think stacking off on the turn is pretty bad. 1) This is a limped pot, and villain can have any two spades in the BB. 2) Villain called a C/R on the flop, so his range is generally strong hands or strong draws. 3) Villain min-raises when the flush hits the turn. 4) Hero could easily have a flush himself, but villain doesn't seem to care. How often are you ahead when you stack off on the turn under these circumstances? |

Re: I fold a set
That turn is a disaster card. I'm seeing a showdown as cheaply as possible thereafter if at all. Unraised pot = give it up , good fold IMO.

Re: I fold a set
This is almost definitely a flush. A must fold.
